Flooding the market: day fourteen
March 30, 2026

Game selling expedition is still ongoing. At this point, most of the loose stuff has sold, and I'm slowly getting eBay's payouts from it. Hilariously, eBay really wants me to use their expedited payment system so they can skim a little more off the top—no thanks. You can deposit it into my checking in one to three business days like God intended. This leaves, uh, most of it. My DS and 3DS stuff was valuable enough to mostly go individually, but I've still got my GB/GBA games, the rest of the Read more

Flooding the market: day five
March 21, 2026

Update on the game selling expedition I started earlier in the week! Games are already starting to fly out of my house. I've been listing GBA and DS stuff on eBay to great success. I try to be real thorough with my photos, everything someone would be looking for to avoid bootlegs shown clearly, checking sites to see what games are going for and trying to price them accordingly or slightly lower than the going rate, and it works! People think they're getting a good deal on a game in very nice Read more

Flooding the market: day one
March 16, 2026

(Brief aside before we begin: post on the group blog from the 13th! It's an overly-technical, highly obscure ramble about a program for getting better looking 8-bit paletted images, and yet another thing I found interesting from the PageMill CD-ROM. Just figured I'd mention that before we get started. I gotta get better at letting folks everywhere know what I've been up to.) So for well over ten years now, I've been putting off selling my games. The flipside to my dash over the past two years Read more

Ranking all the games I beat in 2025
January 08, 2026

I was too sozzled during the marfGH New Year's Eve stream to remember to do this, but I righted the wrong at the start of this week's Okami stream and showed off my beaten games memory card. Since 2024, I've been using an old 32MB PS2 memory card as a big dumping ground for PS1 and PS2 games I went through and completed. It's about half-filled now, and the part of me that's addicted to finishing things loves to look at the saves pile up as time goes on. Looking at my gaming habits this year, a Read more

Cammy Christmas leftover goodness
December 26, 2025

I woke up early this morning with a feeling of deep peace. My huge project for 2025, getting the marfGH base settled and Volume 1 out the door, not only happened on time, but has actually gotten the best first day reaction of any video I've posted in the last few years, in views and comments. It tops even the MoriHime custom, whose own reaction made me see there was still plenty of interest in what I can offer these games. It all feels very vindicating. Me and my friends pulled off in four Read more

The Endless Setlist
November 23, 2025

While I've been keeping up my real instrument practice decently well since I got it (I can now play "Where is My Mind?" fairly cleanly, so that's cool), I still had plastic instruments to finish up business with. Rock Band 2 is a gigantic game, with 84 songs in total and dozens of setlists to burn through arranging those songs in various orders. The last one in the game is The Endless Setlist, which has you playing all 84 in a row, starting with the easiest songs and ending with the hardest. Read more

Dive In
October 28, 2025

October's been a tricky month for me. It's been hard adjusting back to life at home, and more often than not, I've just felt like people don't really need to see more from lil old me, really. I started just playing PS2 games all day instead, and that was cool, but I knew I had to get back on the horse sooner or later. (It calls to me. It goes "neigh neigh" in the night.) I've also been having really irritating, bruised soreness in my writing hand thumb from a tendon issue (exacerbated by Read more

Some funky wunky Japanese PS1 memory cards
October 16, 2025

I'm still working on getting all systems going again. Alas, I cannot blame it on a Skin Condition thanks to my filthy house or the Incorrect Medication That I Said Was The Correct Medication After The Other Incorrect Medication, I just gotta wake up and do some shit. Let's funpost! Here's some PS1 memory cards I bought. Anyone who's seriously played a decent chunk of the PS1's library knows that one memory card doesn't really cut it. You get 15 "blocks" on one, which adds up to 128KB of total Read more

A little more time with you
August 17, 2025

The last week dawns! Actually, this is the last five days in Wales or so. It's not quite hit me yet. Obviously it's sad, especially given that I've been here so long that I really do just feel like part of Caby's family now. I've gotten interrupted three times in making this post, once by Pokémon Puzzle Challenge, but once to chat Top Gear with her mom and another to chat about Quake and Valve games with her dad. Everyone save the guinea pigs has started up an hour plus long conversation with Read more

Wales 2025 dawns
July 02, 2025

We're into the final two weeks before this year's trip to Wales! We've already bought most everything I'm bringing, including the vintage digicam for good measure. (I drunk bought another AOL PhotoCam a couple days ago for cheap, though fully working with pictures showing it powered on and in-box, so that'll be arriving tomorrow as well. What can I say? Fourth time's the charm.) Now all that's left to do is wait. If you're not following the RSS feeds for my album reviews and game reviews, go do Read more
