I've been feeling better lately. I realized about the time I bought the tickets for this year's Wales trip (May into July!) that a lot of my immigration plans just started feeling out of reach, and a lot began to feel either pointless or off-limits. That's not the only reason things really fucking sucked for a bit—my cat died and my grandma is currently on her way out—but yeah. Easier to just play RetroAchievements sets all day.
I've got more of a plan now for when I get back for the next phase of my life, thankfully, and I'm excited to leave February behind and start doing more of the things you all love to see from me. I've already got March's Protoweb restoration nearly complete, I'm working on charts for marfGH: Volume 2 at long last (December will be here before you know it!), and I'm writing a really cool in-character Superkitties thing that I'll hopefully be able to show you all soon. The Somnolians have already seen a bit of it and are all over it, and I've added a lot more since they saw it last. I'm also hoping to finally get the cammy.somnol overhaul done sooner rather than later. Plus, I hung out at my cousin's today for a birthday and had a good time laughing with everyone, and that always makes you feel more human.
Appreciate the patience. This time, we're really gonna do it.
I've been meaning to get these off my camera for so long now. back in January, we visited a local geek con, and I didn't notice the "no photos" sign long enough to take some (not amazing quality) photos. There were people selling retro games, which is always great to peek through, but nothing I was willing to pay probably eBay prices for, and the controller selection (which I was actually after a spare DualShock) was lacking and overpriced. One of the booths was like a hybrid geek art-jams and jellies thing shared by a daughter and her father, and that was pretty fun at least. Elsewhere on Main Street, we saw a Spyro peeking at us through one of the shop windows. What a good dogie.
