Raglan Castle

Just immaculate.

I must say, looking back, Raglan Castle is one of my favorite places I've been on any of these trips, and certainly the most memorable castle to me (though I like all of them). Despite it being late February, it was nice enough that me and Caby's family were able to climb all over the damn thing like explorers and have a little picnic to boot. Just wonderful vibes all around. It's partially still intact and partially in ruins, so you get a nice mixture of both the living history end and the stony, weathered, explore-y end—plus all the dark little tunnels, windy stairwells, and the moat. That room with the fenced walkway looming over darkness is just stellar atmosphere.

Seriously, Raglan Castle. Visit it if you've never been there and you get the chance. It's majestic, but still small enough you can see it all in a day trip.
